Elizabeth Warren, Special Advisor to President Obama, is squarely in the corner of the U.S. consumer – and it’s about time
Consumer Czar, Elizabeth Warren, is in charge of getting the new Federal agency, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, up and running.
In a recent interview on the PBS NewsHour, Warren sees transparency in the banking industry as her top priority.
With greater transparency consumers will be able to better evaluate how much a product really costs, what the risks are and can easily compare one financial product to another.
Warren wants contracts that are short, easy to read with very clear terms. Watch the entire interview now.
